Borrowing Materials
A library card is free with proof Weyburn residency.
- Your Library Card is your key to all the services and resources of the Weyburn Public. To register for a Library Card, you must visit the Library in person and present two pieces of identification which notes proof of ID and your current residential address.
- Please remember that you MUST have your library card with you whenever you want to borrow materials from the Library.
- There is a $3.00 charge for a replacement library card or barcode. If your card is lost or stolen, please inform the Library as soon as possible as you will be responsible for the use of your card until you do so. Worn out cards will be replaced free of charge.

Southeast Regional Library is no longer charging overdue fees.
Any items overdue for a period of 31 days will be deemed missing and the replacement cost of the item will be charged to your account. You will receive a billing notice at this time. Please ensure your information is updated in our system so that we are able to send you overdue notification messages.
If the item is returned in good condition within 6 months, the replacement cost of the item will be removed from your account.
After 6 months, you will be expected to pay the replacement cost as we will have paid to replace the item in our system. The item then becomes your property.
If an item is returned damaged you will be charged the replacement cost of the item, so long as it reported within 31 days and the item then becomes your property. After 31 days, a processing fee will also be charged.
