CRA PResentation Series (IP & V)

Just in time for tax season, a Representative from CRA will be offering the following presentations. Information about scams will be included in all presentations.
New to Canada - Benefits & Credits (V on Teams) - Monday, Mar. 20 @ 6:30 pm
Learn all about: Canada Child Benefit, Disability Tax Credit, GST Credit, Canada Workers Benefit, Residency Status, and How to File. This program will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and the link will be sent out to those registered ahead of time.
Adults 65+ Benefits and Credits for All - Monday, Mar. 27 @ 1:30 pm
Learn all about: Common types of income and credits for seniors, Pension income splitting, Registered Retirement Savings Plan, OAS repayment, and payment methods

Tech Time​ (IP)

Most Mondays 2:00-3:00 pm
We provide basic technology support for adults seeking help using their cell phones, laptops, and other electronic devices. We can also help you get your Covid Vaccine QR Code. Book an appointment for one of our 20 minute time slots from 2-3 pm on most Mondays.  Check our calendar for dates.

Outreach

​Third Thursday of the month
Once a month we deliver books to seniors or adults who love to read but are unable to get to the library.  We deliver to care homes and private houses. Please contact us to make arrangements for monthly book deliveries.

Cricut Orientation: Learn how to use our Cricut Explore Air 2 Machine! We'll walk you through the process of creating a design using the Cricut Design Spaces app and show you how to cut your design. Once done, you’ll be able to borrow our machine within the library! 

3D Printer Orientation: Learn about our 3D printer including how it works, the material it uses, how to find and create designs, and how to send them in to be printed.
